Concept
The overarching concept for this project draws its inspiration from the iconic Art Deco Era, renowned for its opulent and timeless design elements. The central aim is to create a reception area that exudes a luxurious and glamorous atmosphere, artfully weaving the essence of Art Deco into the design.
At the heart of the concept are several distinctive Art Deco features. The use of geometric metal-frame windows forms a striking visual backdrop. These windows are not just architectural elements but also artistic expressions, showcasing intricate geometric patterns that evoke a sense of nostalgia and vintage sophistication.
To capture the romance and elegance of the era, the introduction of curvilinear elements, including the front desk and lounge area, adds a graceful touch. A rich, dark colour palette envelops the entire interior, infusing it with a sense of sophistication and understated opulence. Key design elements such as black marble, mirrored surfaces, and an abundance of metallic accents contribute to the overall feeling of luxury.
The ambience is further enhanced by the presence of dark silk curtains that drape elegantly, providing a layer of texture and softness. The final touches come from the selection of contemporary lighting fixtures and decor objects that seamlessly blend with the theme, creating an environment that beautifully harmonises the grandeur of the Art Deco Era with the demands of modern luxury.
